POP LO!
Today marks the end of my Basic Military Training.
After all the shit that we've gone through, I believe all of us became a stronger, better person. I'm really gonna miss my platoon mates (not all. haha!), we are really the bunch of crazy people that suffer and enjoy every single thing together! =P
For now, lets enjoy our block leave! 10 days of waking up late! Woohoo!

Mosquito Madness!
I am down with a high fever.
Highest temperature recorded was 39.9 degrees celcius.
Was given 3 days mc from 271108 to 291108.
1 quarter of the platoon is also down with fever.
Suspecting the cause of fever could be the mosquitoes.
Missed the 16 kilometres route march.
Have to march after Passing Out Parade. =(
Still feeling dizzy at the moment.
Hope I can get well real soon!

3rd Bookout
Here i am, sitting in front of my laptop blogging about boring stuff once again. haha. Time really flies, 1 month of National Service, gone! 23 more months to go! 14 September 2010, here i come! =D
Watched Burn After Reading with my polymates last night. Recommended by Dennis. haha. =D
This movie received quite a high rating in www.rottentomatoes.com, a movie critic which is famous for their destructive criticism. So I believe this movie should be really darn good.
However after the movie, all in my mind was "Huh? What the f***?!" The movie is just too boring in the start, gets very complicated in the middle and ended quite lame. Brad Pitt and George Clooney were in this movie. It's such a waste to use such great actors on a stupid movie.
My rating: 2/5.

Back From Tekong Island
I am back!
Have so much to share about but we are not allowed to blog stuff about army. =(
Life there is so different from what I used to live. We experienced freedom taken away from us. This 2 weeks is really tiring. Everyday doing physical training is crazy! No time for our muscles to recover! However, I can see my muscles growing! Yea! I wan my six-packs! haha. In the army, I also get to see all kinds of people. From those super nerdy ones to the super garang ones! haha.
Hope I will enjoy the rest of my BMT life! Cheers!

Goodbye Slacker, Hello Soldier!
Recruit Teo, 15th September 2008, 0930 reporting at Pulau Tekong Camp! Haha.
I will be spending my confinement days at Pulau Tekong Camp, BALD!, starting from tomorrow. There's so many things i will miss; my hair! having fun! my family! my friends! almost everything! =(
Thinking about my hair, I'll not be using my hairspray, hair wax, hair dryer and hair straightener anymore for 2 long years! I would usually spend 30 minutes everyday in front of the mirror setting my hair. Let's calculate and see how much time I can save within 2 years! haha. =D
0.5 hours X 2(365) = 365 hours.
365 hours! Woah! That's a hell lot of time! Imagine how much time and effort I have spent on my hair ever since my polytechnic days till this very day! I really gonna miss my hair!
Even now, I don't really feel a thing. I'm abit worried for myself. Am I emotionless? Am I a robot?! Everyone should be like either very anxious, excited or what. But I am still in the mood to blog. haha.

Wild Experience
Going out with a different group of people is really refreshing and fun! All of us are from Giordano! Hubert, Dennis, Hazleen, Nurul and me! haha! It's very amusing to listen to their conversation. It's those things that we would not normally converse about. Cool~ =D
It's ladies' night tonight! Yea! We went to the nearby 7-eleven to get some booze before going in Ministry of Sound. It was crowded as usual! Everyone was so dressed up except for us, the three guys. We were having our uniforms on. haha. Why there is no mans' night for clubs? Free entrance and free drinks for guys! how cool is that?! haha.
Gosh, Hazleen and Nurul killed it on the dance floor man! Nice! =D
I was being caressed by her. My mind went blank and didn't know how to respond! I just put my hands on her hips and... AH! i couldn't describe this anymore!

Midnight Karaoke!
Suntec City Giordano is closing down for renovation! Finally our shop is getting a new look! Great! Today is also Lala's last day with us. She will be transfered to Bugis Junction next week. I'm gonna miss her. Jeng Jeng Jeng! =(
Although it's my off day today, i still went down to help them out. See! I so helpful! haha. It was a fun experience working as a team to clear every-damn-thing in the shop! haha. Everyone in Suntec will be given a day off on Monday! Yea!
Went to Newton Circus for makan after closing with the famous Kakak Jarisa, Regina, Melissa, Dennis and another area manager, shit! i forgotten "her/his" name. haha. =X
Jarisa is damn funny la, putting work aside, she is very nice and hilarious. It's the first time i'm seeing her other side. She teased Melissa's footwear for the whole day! Super funny! LOL. However she is soon leaving after a quarter century in Giordano. I am sure everyone will miss her. =(
It's time for Karaoke! Woohoo! haha. Finally i get to hear Melissa sing after so much self-bragging about how good her singing is. haha. But it's true la! She sings damn well! Superstar man~ haha. Regina didn't sing a single song la! So curious to hear her sing. I was too shy to sing, only managed to sing a few songs, and all of them sucked. Need more practice! =D As usual, the multi-talented Dennis singed like he is having a concert! haha. Melissa! If you become a superstar one day, i will surely support you! haha.

The Mummy
Planned to go sentosa for volleyball, Weixuan wasn't able to make it today, so it was cancelled. haha. Dennis, Bingyi and me were too bored at home so we went to catch The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
I would say it's the worst of the trilogy. I still liked the traditional egyptian mummies more compared to chinese mummies! haha. =D

Ouch!
The Dark Knight. The only Batman movie which i think is nice. haha.
This is definitely one movie i won't mind watching again. (although i always thought that watching the same movie twice in the cinemas is dumb!) haha. =D
I think what makes this movie shine is The Joker (Heath Ledger). At first i thought that that due to his death, the reviews on his acting would be biased. I was very wrong. I didn't expect that his performance would be so damn good. He had immersed himself into and became the Joker. The layers of his emotion were so deep that could be seen in his eyes, face and body with every line he spoke. He is the Joker! Unfortunately, he is gone. It's a huge loss for the entertainment industry.
4.5/5. The reason why this movie does not get the full score is because of 2 things. Batman's super coarse voice and Batman's girlfriend isn't hot at all! haha. =X

F***ing careless today! I actually brought back home the cashier counter keys! Once i stepped into my house, Joan called, asking me to bring back the keys. Sian. So i took a cab back! There goes my 24 dollars! Somemore my shift today is half morning loh. Wasted la! =(

Hancock
"With great powers comes great responsibility" Yea yea~ every superhero follows this pledge. But Hancock? Not really. Thats why i thought that this movie is unique and refreshing! =)
Another thing special about this movie is that it doesn't emphasize much about the origins of the superhero.
Hancock looks much cooler flying around with his daily clothes than his superhero suit. haha. Anyway, Will Smith's acting is just too great! His charisma never fails to charm everyone. =)

Age: 20
4th of July, 1988 is my birthday! Today i am celebrating my 20th year in this world. I am no longer a teen, sad. =(
Maybe it's time to get serious, sit down, think hard and plan my future. Time really flies, still reminiscing the wonderful days i had during my childhood, it seems like yesterday.
Done quite a bit of thinking lately. What have i achieved in this 20 years of my life? What have i not achieved in this 20 years of my life? Wish i could know what am i really capable of. I am so eager to know what am i doing 20 years from now! haha. =D
But i still have National Service to serve lah! Argh! I left 2 more months to slack~ I hate NS! =(
Last night at Ministry of Sound was alright alright only. Not high enough. haha. Maybe because we didn't drink much. But we did something cheapo. We went to the nearby 7 Eleven to get beer, drank our beer and re-enter the club. Save money ya?! haha. Spent most of the time on the dance floor until our ears gonna burst. We could hardly hear anything once we step out of the place. =P
Glad that my friends came, but it was abit disappointing that the atmosphere wasn't high enough. Sorry guys~ Quite a few amusing events happened (the pants-banging couple & the transsexual dilemma) but it wasn't enough to make that night a memory-etching moment. =(

Pay Day
Yea! There's money money money in my bank! haha. Hmm... How should i make good use of this money? Should i save up the money? Or should i pamper myself with something because my birthday is round the corner? *hints hints =D
This day also marks my 1st month with Giordano. For the first few weeks, working in Giordano has been quite challenging for me. I have to throw away the "old" me (introvert) and be very active during work. It's quite tough for me. Imagine I have been like that for 20 years? Then suddenly want me to change so quickly, super tough la! But anyway, as time goes by, i'm getting more used to it already. This might be the golden opportunity to FINALLY, REALLY throw away the "old" me. haha. =P

"I want to make people's hair silky smooth!" wahaha! It's a must see movie! Very Hilarious!
Adam Sandler is my favourite comedian, his facial expression never fails to make me laugh! haha. His hairstyle in this movie is really cool and retro! He looked better with hair. haha. Oh! and not forgetting Emmanuelle Chriqui, she's damn hot lar! =P

IT Show
Suntec City is like a sardine can from Thursday to Sunday because of the IT Show! The crowd is MASSIVE! Huge crowd means chaos for Giordano! haha. Giordano had been very very busy for these few days, but it was all fun! Finally i have the day off today for a good rest. =P
Damn! I missed the Playstation 3 Metal Gear Solid 4 Bundle at the IT Show! Argh! I can't wait to get my hands on Metal Gear Solid 4! It's like the game of the century! The Metal Gear Solid series is by far the best game for its storyline. Nothing beats it.

Technical Design Clay
After around 1 year when Technical Design Clay was first launched in Japan, it finally arrived at Singapore!
Gotten this from Watsons at $8.50. This clay is totally wicked! I can now set whatever hairstyle i want with this! It holds my hair well, makes my hair look smoother and make the ends of my hair look better! One bad thing is that it's quite difficult to wash off. =(

Setting my hair is quite a difficult task for me because i have thick, wavy and stubborn hair. I'll always need to blow, wax and spray my hair in order to make my hair look nice. Usually i would take 20 to 30 minutes to get my hair done, once i step out of my house and walk towards the bus-stop, the wind will always make me think that setting my hair is a waste of time. (because the wind, without fail, will always screw up my hair) haha.
She caught my attention when she entered the train cabin. Oh my! I think i met the girl of my dreams! She's my type man~ Nice misty eyes, long hair, shorter than me, slim... haha. But i'm not sure what's her character like. What if her character turns out to be the character i liked? haha. Guess i'm dreaming. I always like to stand by the glass panels when i'm in the train and suddenly she came by and stood opposite of me. I glanced at her and she caught me! Opps~ Shy~ I hung my head low till City Hall. I feel inferior towards pretty girls. =( She alighted at City Hall as well. haha. I almost wanted to push my phone to her to get her number. But she's someone i don't know. I always think that it will be very weird for guys to just get numbers from girls whom you don't know just like that. So i didn't do it. I always envy those people who have that courage which i don't possess.

Went to Suntec City's Giordano for interview with the help of Dennis. The lady who interviewed me, Angela, reminded me of someone! Miss Tan! My secondary 1 to 4 mathematics teacher! Although she always "suan" me, i still think she's okay. haha. Angela is a Miss Tan replica la! Her 眼神 and the way she talks is exactly the same! Hope i get the job. =)

Just some of my thoughts about the 让爱川流不息 charity show on 25 May 2008.
With approximately 10 million dollars raised for the victims of the Sichuan earthquake, why in the world that these donations are subject to 7% GST tax?! This is ridiculus!
7% = $700,000???
I'm not trying to offend the government or whoever, this is just my point of view. Isn't this event supposed to be meaningful by mobilizing the celebrities to persuade Singaporeans to lend a helping hand by donating money to Sichuan? In the end, the government is taxing those donations? Does this make any sense?

Watched Drillbit Taylor with Junlong and Yijing today.
An average movie. Not very funny. My rating: 3/5. There is one boy who looked like a mad freak! haha. He got this psychotic eyes and smile. Quite eerie and scary. I remembered playing this board game, which its logo looked exactly the same as the mad freak! haha. I've forgotten the name of the board game.
The weather is eff-fing hot! argh!

Culture Breaking
Celebrated Junlong's 20th birthday at Crystal Jade Palace! Jeff joined us too.
You see, our gang's birthday culture is very simple: find a place to eat. That's all! But this time, it's different. This is the very first time that we actually bought a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to someone in our gang! haha. Although there's no presents (giving presents is also not our culture) but Junlong, you should be honoured! You're the first! haha.
A birthday party is no fun without a birthday bash! Junlong received the bash and mine's next! Ouch!

Iron Man
Caught Iron Man at the cinema with my buddies today.
It's the second coolest movie after Transformers. A must watch! I will give it a rating of 4.5/5. The introduction of Iron Man is superb, but it's a pity that the final fight scene is abit short. I don't mind spending another 15 minutes on my seat watching Iron Man kicking the badass's butt. haha. =D
My dream car is featured in this movie! The Audi R8! :)
There is something very wrong with me today and i don't know why! I'm so pissed at almost everything. From the words that i hear to the things that i see, they put me on fire! I am so negative today! :(

Labour Day
Went to Ministry of Food at Marina Square to have dinner with my family. It's been awhile we had dinner together out of home. :) The food there is as great as before!
Ministry of Food is famous for its desserts. The Macha Shake is one of my favourites. It is actually a tea milk shake topped with soft vanilla hokkaido ice-cream! Mmm... Sweet! =P Everyone should try it!
Saw 陈汉玮 at Marina Square. He's not as tall as i expected! haha. But I so am motivated to train up my body when i see his tanned and toned physique! :)

Truly Asia
Stayed overnight at Yongwee's house along with Chingee, Yijing, Junlong, Xiangsheng and Zhengming. Watched 降头 (Boring~) and American Pie: The Naked Mile (Very funny!) The guy jerked off at his grandma and his grandma died! haha.
Had 肉骨茶 for lunch the next day at 大马公园. Their 肉骨茶 tastes great and is very different from the ones in Singapore. Comparing Singapore's 肉骨茶 with Malaysia's 肉骨茶, their 肉骨茶 doesn't have the strong peppery taste.
The pork ribs are soft and succulent! When dipped into the pool of dark soy sauce with chilli, there is only 1 word to describe the taste: Heavenly! haha. Their 麻油鸡 tastes great too! The chicken chunks are coated with a layer of sesame oil when picked up by the chopsticks, light is reflected out from the soft skin of the meat making it sparkle! What a mouth-watering view! haha. The chicken chunks are very soft and juicy too! Yum yum! :)
Headed to Jusco Shopping Mall. The inside of the mall somehow resembles Vivocity. haha. Xiangsheng went to get some chocolates for his girl. Aww~ So loving~ haha. =P
A pair of Nike Air Force 1 and a Nike Striped Polo Tee caught my eye and i can't buy because i didn't bring enough money! Singapore doesn't carry them and they are quite cheap too. Disappointed. :(

Celebrated Mingsheng's 25th birthday at Power House! Woohoo! That's all i can say! haha. It'a a pity that we didn't take pictures.
Mingsheng gets his friend to smuggle us into Dragonfly, but unfortunely on the way down the stairs, we were held by the bouncers. Getting caught is just so exhilarating! haha. However, was disappointed that we didn't have the chance to enter Dragonfly. I wanna know what's so happening in Dragonfly! Bingyi missed the fun, he was late. (as usual) haha.
We drank quite abit. But Mingsheng drank quite a lot! haha. All the loud music and the alcohol made us super high! Yea! And off we went hitting the dance floor. To be frank, it's my first time on the dance floor and i am just too shy to dance. All i did was bounce to the music while our dancer dennis killed it on the dance floor! =P Went back and found Mingsheng getting real high! He is shaking his booty! Yea! haha. His girlfriend picks ups her camera and caught his moves! Wait till he sees that. hehe. =P
My first time trying shots. Tasted bad in my opinion. The fruit didn't have much effect in neutralising the bad taste of the alcohol. haha. And our dear Bingyi kena cheated by this gorgeous lady who sells shots. 你亲到我~ 我不管~ 一杯! haha. =X
We had tons of fun there. Hope we can go back again someday.

Basketball
Played basketball with my polymates in school today. It's a good thing that there is no fighting today. I kinda miss those days when playing basketball with other people, ending up quarreling or fighting. Not that we played rough or what, maybe we produced too much laughter that pissed them off. haha. Especially that time we're at Choa Chu Kang community centre and the other time in school. I missed those amusing days! haha. =P
Went to the famous Chinatown porridge eating place to have our dinner, Weixuan didn't join us. I don't know why is it famous, the food there is so-so only lor. The only thing delicious there is the garnished sashimi. Regretted ordering the mixed pig organ porridge, the intestines are not washed properly, it tastes and smells bad. :(
Went to Vivocity to watch Run Fatboy Run.

A funny yet heart-felt movie. It's about love. It's about life. Running away from problems or obstacles will lead you nowhere. You will still need to face them in the end. Anyway, this movie is worth the money and the little boy, Jake, is super cute! Love him! :)

Decision
Went to Far East Plaza with Junlong, Yijing and Xiangsheng. Junlong wanted to buy a cap, but in the end he bought a shirt. haha. Far East Plaza doesn't seem to have a wide range of caps. Disappointed. So we decided to head to Bugis Street to check out some caps~ Pathetic! those 2 places doesn't sell nice looking caps!
I wanna get myself a cap too because my current mesh cap is super huge! Huge enough to make me look odd when putting it on. haha. =D Anyone knows where to get those nice looking mesh caps? Gotta let me know, okay? Thanks!
Zhengming joined us for dinner at the Chong Pang nasi lemak place. The standard there is dropping, the rice is not as fragrant as before. But there are still alot of people queueing up to eat. Yet another disappointment. :(

Mio
Yijing brought us (Chingee, Jeff and me) down to Bukit Batok for an job interview. The job is to setup Mio systems for Singtel customers. The pay's attractive though, $65 per day or $1300 per month. No deduction of CPF, tons of allowance and cash pay! Woohoo! haha. But it will be a tough job as we will need to run all around Singapore. There will be a orientation for us on Monday to learn more about the job and there might be some hands-on as well. :)
Street Kings, a movie which uses way too much "Fuck!" in their dialogues! haha.
All i can say is, a waste of great actors in an average movie! haha. The bad cop plot has been used a million times and this movie doesn't stand out from the rest. 3 out of 5 for me.

Suki Sushi
Had a gathering at Orchard Cineleisure's Suki Sushi with Nigel, Bingyi, Jeff, Gavin, Dennis, Weixuan and Michelle. Too bad Nicholas and Mingsheng were unable to make it. So long never see them liao, kinda miss them. haha. We did something bad again! We paid a 7 people bill instead of 8 because Bingyi came late and the waiter didn't take note of it. We didn't inform the waiter also! So we paid 1 person less. haha.
Watched Rouge.
Boring movie. It's just a giant crocodile chomping people up, that's all! Everything in the movie is so expected, nothing surprising. 2.5 out of 5. Michelle covered her eyes everytime she knows when something gonna scare her. hehe. =P

Untraceable
Watched Untraceable today. The chunky chicken roll taste great! Yummy! :)
The FBI is unable to trace this serial killer who uses the web to kill people. The more people who logs on and enter his website, the faster and more violently the victim dies. Not a bad movie, the killing method is quite fresh. I am just surprised to see how a single laptop can deter the FBi from tracing him. Diane Lane is an awesome actress! So i will give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

Dream Car
My dream car. This machine here is beautiful! Fell in love with it at first sight! The Audi R8 has an exotic appearance, a classy yet agressive look. One thing that caught my eyes are the signal lights. The signal lights are actually a tiny strip of LED lights fixed directly below the break lights. Very unique and cool! I hope i can own this car before the age of 30! (Fat hope?!) LOL. =P
The 420HP V8 engine is mounted at the back of the car, covered with glass for public display. How cool is that?! haha.

Recruit Express
Went to Recruit Express at Ngee Ann City today with Jeff and Yijing, obviously we are rotting at home and so we decide to look for a job. (anyone got lobang faster tell me) haha.
We are interviewed by this gorgeous lady and her name is Angela. There are lots of babes working there too! =P hehe.
Oh my, the cheeky side of me showed up again! XD
Watched The Orphanage at Orchard Cineleisure. Yijing and I were like, so scared. LOL. Yijing covered his ears while i peeped through my fingers every now and then. And Jeff is like so immuned to the movie. he almost fell asleep. LOL.

Sun Tanning Session
Jeff pangseh us again. 2 times in a row. Power! LOL. =X
The swimming complex is open! Yea! And we did something cheapo. We paid for entrance tickets of 80 cents each! (childrens price) LOL.
Rented the donut float and off we went to the lazy pool. Sit on the float and the current will bring you around the swimming complex. Very relaxing~ Very comfortable~ A great chance for sun tanning too! Yea!
Next are the slides. Purple, blue and yellow. You will need to get the floats in order to play the purple and the blue slide. The purple slide is the highest one, followed by the blue one. For me, the yellow slide's the most exciting. You will need to go without the float. Although it is the shortest one, but the speed's crazy! I almost pee-ed my pants on the way down! (joking!) haha. You will need to try it to understand what i mean.
Next up, the wave pool. Where can u find waves in Singapore? Jurong West swimming complex and Wild Wild Wet! It's fun! Swaying up and down on the float. Woohoo! This is the first time i experienced waves that huge! (abit "mountain turtle") haha. Of course you can't compare these with those in Hawaii or the Gold Coast, but this is the biggest wave i encountered in my life! haha.
Couple spotted at the jacuzzi! And they are making out! LOL. No lar. The guy is planting strawberries (love-biting) on the hot chick's neck. Get a room dude! haha. But man~ the girl's hot! Lucky guy~ LOL. =P
This is the first time going to the Jurong West swimming complex and the experience there is great! I will definitely go back soon someday to have some fun again in the near future. :)
The swimming complex is open! Yea! And we did something cheapo. We paid for entrance tickets of 80 cents each! (childrens price) LOL.
Rented the donut float and off we went to the lazy pool. Sit on the float and the current will bring you around the swimming complex. Very relaxing~ Very comfortable~ A great chance for sun tanning too! Yea!
Next are the slides. Purple, blue and yellow. You will need to get the floats in order to play the purple and the blue slide. The purple slide is the highest one, followed by the blue one. For me, the yellow slide's the most exciting. You will need to go without the float. Although it is the shortest one, but the speed's crazy! I almost pee-ed my pants on the way down! (joking!) haha. You will need to try it to understand what i mean.

Suay!
Nicholas jio-ed swimming at the Jurong West swimming complex. Jeff put aeroplane. Left me, Nic, Bingyi and Mingsheng. Guess what? When we reach there, it's closed! What The Hell?! Today's the annual staff meeting day. Suay right? Annual meeting and we so "heng" to choose this very day to go swimming. Spoil mood~ I already visualised the fun that we are gonna have when we are on the way there lor. haha. We decided to come again tomorrow.
We went to Jurong Point to slack. Can't believe that we slacked at the arcade for the whole afternoon. It's the first time i've played Drummania (the drum game) and i am addicted to it already la. Super fun! Too bad the Timezone at Causeway Point doesn't have Drummania, otherwise i will go down to play everyday! It's super addictive. haha. I want the machine in my room! haha. Anyway, it's kinda expensive to play. $1.50 for 4 songs. If you fail the 1st song, there goes your $1.50. haha.
Later in the day, Mingsheng suggested to go Farm Mart for dinner. He says the chicken wings there super best! LOL. So we went there to eat. However, i think the food there is okay-okay nia. Not too good and not too bad. The deer meat tastes fake! haha. :P
After dinner, our dear kind-hearted Mingsheng drove us back. :)

Aspire 4920G
Woke up in around 7am today! (It has been so long since i wake up so early!) Bugged my dad to fetch me go Acer to collect my NEW laptop. haha. I was thinking that i will need to go home myself as my dad has to go to work after that. Fortunately, he forgot to bring his handphone! and needs to go home to get it. Muahaha. Meaning I will have a free ride home! Muahaha.
The first thing i got home is check out my NEW laptop! Great specs with cool blue LED lighting. What can i say? I own an awesome laptop! I feel so lucky! haha. Later in the afternoon still need to go to school to help fix up Bingyi's laptop. Don't feel like going out already because the uber cool laptop is right in front of me, wanna see what this gadget can do! ( i can't play high quality graphic games [Perfect World, Cabal Online]using my previous laptop, so i wanna stay at home to try out these games) haha. But bo bian, still need to help him get his laptop done, cos it's my fault that his laptop kena virus. =(
